Question:
Does anyone have a great cardiologist in Chicago (or close suburbs)?
I need to find a GOOD cardiologist here in Chicago, quickly. Its not for me..but for my dad, who is not quite MO, but close; and had an anomalous EKG reading. Thanks in advance. — Tamara K. (posted on February 27, 2003)

call Loyola Hospital and ask for a referral, they have an awesome cardiac

You can try Dr. Thomas Holly @ Northwestern Memorial(312)695-4965. He gave
me my clearance for surgery. Answered all my questions thoroughly.

Well, it's not exactly close burbs but, They are in Libertyville and
Gurnee. The practice is Jajeh, Coch, & Binge. Those 3 doctors are the
best! I'd recommend Dr. Jajeh..my mother has alot of heart problems and
that's her doctor...he's very detail oriented. good luck with your dad!

I go to Drs at Northwestern but University of Chicago and Loyola are also
good hospitals. I'd call the hospital. Usually they have a referral/help
desk, at least I know Northwestern does.
Be glad you have access to Chicago hospitals, they are very good.
Perhaps another way to find a doc would be to ask your dad's pcp for a
referral. Or try contacting his insurance company for a recommendation. If
he has to stay within a network that is good to know ahead of time.

Loyola is outstanding.... as is Dr L. Barr of Midwest Heart Specialists if
you're around the Downers Grove area.
