Question:
Estrogen and Breast Cancer

Since there is a link between estrogen and breast cancer. Estrogen is stored in fat. We lose fat. Is there a higher incidence of breast cancer while losing weight. Is there anything we can take that will bind to the estrogen? Am I just going overboard? Thank you,    — Meg L. (posted on February 23, 2003)

I have pondered this question myself. I have heard, though, that when losing weight, that the cells release estrogen and can throw the body into early menopause. I am still having some whacky stuff going on with my hormones and I'm 15 months p/o. Hopefully someone can answer your question more specifically.
