Question:
Pain in pouch that feels like cramping

I have had this pain in my pouch area that moves to my back and feels like cramping. It seems to subside after I eat but then comes back shortly after. Can this be my new hunger signal? Or any idea's on what this could be? Thanks all.    — Heather .. (posted on February 10, 2003)

Hate to say this, but it sounds like an ulcer to me. I was just diagnosed with one last Tuesday. Had the same symptoms. For your sake I hope I'm wrong.

I'm voting toward an ulcer, too. How does water taste? Any nausea? Do you already have an appt for a scope?
