Question:
Wanting info. from anyone who's had a body lift post-op.

I have heard of plenty of people who have had TT but wanted to hear from anyone who had a body lift. I've heard horrible statistics and risks and wanted to know if you've had any problems. Leah - I had a body lift and my inner thighs done on Oct 10, 2002. I was supposed to be out for a month, but it stretched to two months because the incesion on my back opened up. Let me clarify, it practially exploded. You could stick your fist in the hole in my back. I had a nurse come daily to the house to stuff it with gauze and dress it. Three times a day it had to be changed, and because of its location, my parents had to change it on the off times. Now it is healed, I've been back to work for a bit over a month. It is the BIGGEST scar known to man. However, just from the skin removal, I when from a size 22 pant to a size 12. I can't say I regret having it done. I wish it had gone better, though. As far as pain goes, there was some and I took Percocets liberally. Around the incescion line, I have no feeling. About an inch on either side of the scar is completely numb. Also, my pubic area was not done, he is doing that this Spring... it's a bulbous mass that drives me insane. It swings around and my boyfriend calls it my package.
