Question:
my surgery was chngd to a new date which is a week from mon

hi..they moved my surgery date to a week from monday which is great but for some odd reason im STILL not nervous..this worries me am i not nervous coz i know its the right thing or what..i have only ever had one surgery at age 12 so granted i dont really know what to expect..anything i should be doin to get ready?    — christine S. I was the same way. I never had major surgery and never got nervous, even when they wheeled me into the O.R.. I was calm as could be. I fought so long and so hard to get the surgery that I guess when it came time I was more releived than nervous. At 6 weeks I was down 71 pounds so GOOD LUCK!!!

Christine~My surgery was origanly suposed to be on dec 4th. The surgeons office called me on a monday and asked me to go in that same friday coming up....i had 4 days to get ready! I was not nervous or scared at all....nothing really hit me untill i got in the OR and by that time I knew there was no turning back and I knew it was the best decision for me. Just remmeber that this surgery is going to change your life for the better. Remember to have chapstick at the hospital!!!!! Just stay calm and remember we are alllllllll here for you! Hi, I'm having surgery the same day, Jan. 20. I'm very nervous because of my kids. The thought of something happening and them not having me around is almost unbearable to think about, so I try not to sit and think to deeply about it.
