Question:
Not much luck in clothing exchange, can you help?

Hi, I realize that alot of people have had problems in the past with people in the clothing exchange, and it has hurt others. I am almost 4 months out, and in need of size 16 casual clothes for my job (I teach school). I visit the exchange sight daily, but have had no luck. I WILL gladly pay the shipping AND would understand the shipper waiting until my payment reaches them before shipping, which is very understandable. If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for "listening". Happy New Year to you and yours! Kimmie    — Kimberly B. (posted on January 3, 2003)

I need 24/26 and too would be more than happy to pay shipping, and share my bigger clothes... not luck... so if you have 24/26 (perhaps smaller) I'll be open to them... I work in a library...

Kim, can't help you, as you and I are more or less in the same place, but Michelle, perhaps I could help. I sent a bunch of 24/26 clothes out to some people before--didn't ask for or receive postage, but it doesn't matter. A thanks would've been nice, though. Let me know what you need, and if I've got it, it's yours.

I dont have any clothes those sizes, but i would suggest ebay, as for the scrubs someone is always selling them. I would also try the local thrift stores and consigment shops...

I also tried the clothing exchange, there were scrubs listed I e-mailed and never received a answer and this was with two differnt people. If they did pass them on a im sorry they are gone would had been nice.

I never used the clothing exchange, as I had read/heard/seen too many "horror stories"...all my old clothing was donated to a local battered womens shelter (along with a ton of my kids outgrown clothing)...but I also would suggest Ebay and a local thrift store, consignment store...they are great resources. Have a Sparkling Day!! ~CAE~

Hi, I have a couple of cute dresses, a couple of pairs of jean shorts, and 2 sweaters. You're welcome to them if you'd like to cover the shipping. Just email me if you want them. Smiles, Kimberly

Hi, I am the original poster......Thanks for the suggestions, etc. I have become addicted to Ebay, and have bought several outfits using this avenue. I live about 1 hour from the closest thrift store, but will make a point to stop by why I can. I am going to start hitting garage sales as some as the weather gets a little warmer. Again thanks......and to all of you wonderful people that have tried to help out others, I am so sorry for their "thank yous" Sometimes the public never ceases to amaze me! Bless you all! Kim
