Question:
BTC patients, can we use sweet and low?

I don't recall hearing anything about this. I know we're on sugar free foods, but can we have sweet and low? Is there any limit on that?    — Toni M. (posted on December 28, 2002)

Sweet and Low is actually saccrarin and is tolerated. BTC gave me a Sugar card at my two week checkup that has a list of sugars to avoid and those that are generally OK. I use this while shopping and it comes in handy alot when reading labels!
