I weighed 427 at the time of my surgery 5 months ago and have lost 126 pounds to date. I only had 75cm bypassed. With any luck, I will be at 200 pounds lost sometime in 2003...JR

I started out at 375 and have lost 125 pounds in 7 months. I'm confident that I'll lose 200 pounds total by the time I make 1 year out.

I am 11 mos post op. I started at 441 and as of today I weighed 260, for a loss of 181 lbs. I am hoping to lose at least another 80. My surgery was RNY proximal.

hi there! im 5 9 and staarted at 370 i had open rny on feb 8 02 and now down 170+ lbs, id like to lose another 40 or 50. ill get there!!!! :) best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!:)

My daughter had proximal lap RNY. She weighed 406 lbs. with a BMI almost 70 at pre-op, and has lost 230 lbs. She had a beautiful, healthy baby girl in July and is 10 lbs. from goal. Life doesn't get much better than this :-)

I started at 382 lbs, 5'9". I had RNY (150cm) 3/11/02. As of 12/11/02, 9 months out I have lost 140 lbs. I needed to loose 209 lbs to make my personal goal of 175lbs. I am confident that I will make my goal by summer of 2003.
