Question:
I had my consult yesterday - now what to expect?

Of course, I didn't ask anyone yesterday while there! But the surgeon wanted me to schedule a sleep apnea test, and I've scheduled a psych eval for next week. But what happens now? I just wait til both tests are done and wait for a phone call? Also, everyone on this board with my insurance says that BCBS PPO doesn't preapprove, but BTC says they will submit for preapproval and wait for it...hmmm. When does everyone think I'd be looking at surgery? I'm so anxious!    — vittycat (posted on December 19, 2002)
