Question:
Any Dr. Burrowes post ops with bmi >50

The doctor that I have done the most research on seems to be a bit to busy to see patients. I am looking into Dr. Burrowes since my pcp from emory recommended him. Has anyone had lap or open with him and had a bmi of 50 or greater. What are his credentials? Any deaths or serious complications from his patients?    — vesta D. (posted on December 2, 2002)

Yeah, I had done some research on Dr. Duncan and after having my paperwork for a MONTH, I called and asked when I could make an appointment. They said in a month maybe, after they had had it for a month already. It's been two months and still no phone call. I was leary and thought how "there" would they be for me after the surgery. So I am going to Macon Surgical Associates in Macon. A little of a drive, but the surgeon there has had the surgery himself and the staff is soooo nice. Not to mention I got an appointment two days after I faxed in my paperwork. Michelle
