Question:
Sorry----want to know pros and cons of lapband

I wrote earlier and wanted to know about the AGB but what I really want to know about the Lapband --pros, cons, successes, or complications. If anyone has had the lapband performed please give me feed back on it. thanks LK    — Lynn K. (posted on November 9, 2002)

If you are interested in more information on the lap band go to www.spotlighthealth.com. There is a lap band message support board there... alot of people that are post op with the lap band... Sheryl

I was banded 3-25-02 and was back to my normal life 100% in about five days. I made it to goal (170) in six months. I have continued to lose and now weigh less than 155 and wear a size 6 (I'm 5'8"). Just like the other surgeries it's a tool not magic, but I love this particular tool. I've had no complications and feel great. Check out my profile or write me if you have questions.
