Question:
Has anyone had surgery at BTC Columbus with Medical Mutual of Ohio Supermed Select?

Hi there everyone, I'm having trouble with Medical Mutual they approved my surgery but not at BTC and they are the only ones I am comfotable with. Please help! - B    — Brianne M. (posted on October 30, 2002)

I have Medical Mutual Supermed also, and mine was approved without any problem. My surgery will be at BTC in Columbus with Dr Choban.

I have SuperMed Select with MMOH and Dr. Vig at the BTC did my surgery. As far as I know, MMOH refused my coverage for the surgeon as out of network. However, BTC (the hospital) is an in-network provider. So far, they have billed me approximately $47,000 and the insurance has not refused anything. Tiffany =)
