Question:
Does a person have to meet the criteria for WLS for a minimum amount of yrs?
If a doctors want a 5 year medical history-does that mean that I have to meet the criteria for WLS for a total of 5 years. I had some thinner years within the past 5 years. Is this going to hurt me with qualifying? It has been within the last 2 years that I have been anywhere from 90-120# over my ideal wt. Insurance requires 100# over with co-morbs. — Jan S. Every insurance company has different criterias. For me, I had to have a
BMI of over 40 for the past 5 years.
