Question:
Has anyone had panniculectomy approved from Aetna w/out a rash?

My panni hangs below my pubis (a requirement) and my weight loss is > 100 pounds, but I don't have rashes. Has anyone had a panniculectomy covered w/out the rash?    — mom2jtx3 (posted on October 11, 2002)

I don't know the answer, but if you do need a rash just take a green scrachie pad and ruff up the skin. If you can stand it wipe it with alcohol. Take pics and send it to ins co. It should help alot to get approved. Hope this helps.
