Question:
4 months post op needed my appendix out, anyone else have this happen?

I was feeling so sick and new it was something, kept thinking something feminine like ovary bursting, or appendix or gall stone, i was amazed and furious when i found out i needed surgery again just 18 weeks after my LAP. anyone else lose their appendix soon after surgery?    — robyn R. Yup, had my appendix out at about 1 yr. post-op. Don't know if it was related or not (?) but suspect it may have been.

I have been told that a lot of people who lose large amounts of weight end up having problems with their gal bladder and appendix

I had my lapRNY 3/1/02 and developed appendicitis in june had it removed 6/04/02 also done lap....the appendix hurt way more than the RNY DID TOO
