Thinking of changing insurance: Need feedback on Empire BCBS

Hello all...I am post-op, but working on getting the old plastic surgery ball rolling. I am planning on having a lower body lift, full abdominoplasty, and breast lift (I'm a mess). I met with a plastic surgeon who specializes in lower body lifts for individuals who have lost massive quantities of weight...and I really like him!! Unfortunately, he is not in my current plan - Healthnet of the Northeast - and I have no out of network benefits. Well, we are coming up on open enrollment for for next year's insurance coverage and my employer also offers Aetna HMO and three managed medical plan options through Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield (I am not planning on having any PS until 2003 anyway). I just feel like I've heard a million horror stories about Aetna, so I am thinking of going with BCBS (besides coverage issues, HealthNet is costing me a mint!) So, anyone out there have any experience, specifically pertaining to Plastic Surgery coverage, with Empire BCBS? Please let me know if you do...I would greatly appreciate it.
