Question:
Where can I get good protein recipes in either books or online?
I'm having a hard time with protein. I do get some newsletters online with some protein recipes on it. I was just wondering if there was anywhere else I can get easy protein recipes that you don't have to blend or don't take a lot of time? Books, personal or online resources? Thanks! — Allison T. I'm 3 mos. postop and I had a hard time fitting in all the protein, too. I
found myself forcing down some cottage cheese or an egg when I wasn't
hungry just to get the allotment. NOT why I had surgery - to eat like
that. I went back to protein shakes. I always have one for breakfast and
1 or 2 throughout the day. That way, I can have salad or other things as
food and not feel like I'm focusing on my mental adding machine for protein
- the shakes take care of it and are the most bio-available form of protein
anyway. Good luck.
