Question:
Questions about gall baldder? Blood tests done said high end of normal?

To make a long story short I ended up in the ER last night with a real intense pain in my abdomen. Kind of a sharp burning pain. They wern't sure if it was an ulcer retuning again or a gall bladder attack. They did blood tests (I'm not sure which) & the ER Dr. said the test for I guess my gall bladder function was on the high end of normal. They also did a ultra sound of my gall bladder but the Dr. said he didn't have a real good picture and to follow up with my PCP. Does this mean I have to get my gall bladder out? What does this mean? I did make an appt. with my PCP but just wondering if anyone had this experience?    — Allison T. (posted on September 20, 2002)
