Question:
Has anyone had the silastic ring put in post-RYN?

I havent had it put in yet. But I have been approved. I originally had my RNY done 11/00. My stoma is too wide, and I have no food restrictions. The surgeon here, does the Fobi and is going to insert the ring in an attempt to fix this problem. It will be done at the same time I have my TT and hernia repair.

I WILL TO BE HAVING MY SILASTIC RING REPLACED, MINE HAS ERODED FROM AN ULCER. THEY ARE GOING TO PUT A NEW ONE ON WHEN MY HERNIA AND MINI TT WILL TAKE PLACE. THANKS FOR ASKING THIS QUESTION. GOOD LUCK
