Question:
Is it OK to have 2 angels??

I feel so fortunate to even ask this question! I just was approved today and have received offers from 2 terrific people here to be my angel One is pre-op and one is post-op, both with my doctor! Is it greedy to accept 2??    — Helenjean P. (posted on August 19, 2002)

Hi HelenJean!! Congrats on your approval. You must be so excited! I'm so happy for you! To answer your question, yes you can have 2 angels! I have 2 angels myself. One lives in MD and one that lives in MI that will visit me at the hospital.It is not greedy to accept 2. They can both post on your progress and when one can't, the other one can. It's a good idea! Dear HelenJean: I had a bevy of angels for my surgery. There's nothing wrong with having more than one, and I find it especially wonderful that you have one pre op and one post op. I've always felt that being an angel, especially if they are local, as a pre op is THE BEST way to learn about the process. I knew exactly what to expect after my surgery thanks to my friend Sandy, as I was her local angel just over a year ago. A long distance angel is no less a wonder!
