Looking for Support Groups & truly need your help

Dear Friends, I would greatly appreciate your help. I'm looking for support group(s) in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Barbara, Try going to yahoo.com and choose groups, then type in OSSG (for the search), there are a lot of support groups listed there. I currently belong to four!! The protein perverts is a good one as is the recipe one, but there might be one specifically for your area. good luck

Hi Barbara, Even tho my surgeon has an excellent one and is two hours away, I started a local one for anyone having any type of WLS. I went to Obesityhelp Peers page and emailed everyone within about 35 miles of where I live. We have been meeting once a month since Feb., I think. We have dinner then talk, share and laugh. One of the girls set up a webpage so we can email once to talk to all. It has been really nice to have the local people to talk to AND know the people all personally. Give it a try.
