Question:
Anyone heard of CURVES and have you tried it?

I am 4 months post op and have lost 70 lbs. I don't get enough exercise in so I was thinking about joining Curves. Have any of you tried it yet and if so, how do you like it?    — Peggy D. (posted on August 12, 2002)

Peggy, my friend who had surgery April 29th, goes to Curves. She loves it, everytime we talk she goes on about it! There isn't one here where I live or I would be looking into it! Good luck and God bless.

They're building a Curves a couple of blocks from my house but it won't be open for another 2 months or so. But I definitely plan on checking it out once they're open! It sounds great.

Hi, I go to Curves, and lost 13 inches in the first two months. I am a little over a year out RNY LAP, and weight loss has slowed down big time, but the inches are just dropping off of me like crazy, and I thank Curves for that! You should check it out, tey usually will let you work out once for free to see if you like it.

I started at Curves a few weeks ago and I love it. It's only 30 minutes of my day and sooooo deserve it! My mom, who is 62, goes with me as well. Sometimes she has more stamina than I do! LOL It's nice to work out in an environment where there are only women and they are of all shapes, sizes and ages. Very non-threatening! I've been going 3-4 times a week and have started drinking Isopure shakes for breakfast and I have been losing a pound a day ever since...I was averaging 2-3 pounds a week before! I don't know if these awesome weight loss results are because of Curves, the drinks or the combo of the two, but either way I am happy.! Good luck!
