Dig around on www.tuckthattummy.com and you will find many

surgery.....

I weighed 325 lbs. pre-op, and had my TT and armlift in November when I was
20 months post-op, and at goal. I had been working out in a gym since I
was 6 months post-op, and had hoped that I might be able to avoid plastic
surgery. However, I found that although I could "fit" in the
appropriate sizes, and was healthier and more energized and in better
physical condition than I had been in decades, I also resembled a cross
between a bloodhound and a Shar-pei. I'm sorry that I don't have any
pictures, but I couldn't be happier with my plastic surgery. My surgeon
had laughingly commented that he hoped he could give me the arms and tummy
of a 16 year old. Post-op, I affirmed for him that I never had a tummy and
arms that looked this good when I WAS 16 :-) I had an anchor
incision...long, vertical incision from the breastbone to the pubic area,
then a "smiley-face" incision from hipbone to hipbone. He used no
external sutures or staples, so at 8 months post-op plastic surgery, I just
have a fine pink incisional line that is fading fast. My scars from my
previous C-sections and abdominal hysterectomy were far more noticeable
than this....shucks, I had stretch marks more noticeable than this! In the
process of doing the TT, all the old incisional scars, including the ones
from my "traditional" gall bladder surgery and my tiny lap RNY
scars, were removed....not a bad trade-off :-) I wish you the same great
experience. Good luck!

I had my rny on 11/16/01 and my gall bladder removal/tt on June 12, 2002--I
reached goal in late April, early May of 2002..I was a lightweight and a
quick steady loser. I didn't take any after pics yet of the TT--still a
bit too much swelling for me...and I have yet to post my before tt pics of
the panni, but I plan on it as soon as time permits...but if you click on
my profile you'll see a pic of me at 226 lbs on the day of surgery and
you'll see a pic of me about 2 weeks post op TT in a bathing suit :0) at
127-130 lbs--I went from a size 24 to a size 4/6 :0)
The only thing that shows that I was once mo is my flappy arms and floopy
boobs...but, oh well, good bras from Victoria Secrets and sleeves hide
those sins. :0)
Good luck!!

Go join the Yahoo! group OSSG-plasticsurgery and then check out all my
pictures in the files section. I have naked photos from all three consults
with my plastic surgeon, four-days post-op naked photos, and clothed before
and afters. They are in a folder called "JuliaZ" since that's my
name after my divorce. Good luck. I started at 310 and I absolutely needed
the TT.
