Question:
Has any other female......
Every since I had surgery (year ago) when I have my cycle I bleed so heavy I never bleed like this before has anyone else had this problem? Also (very embarassing) has anyone noticed that their vaginal fluids has become more smelly?? It seems that I now have more and that it has a much stronger smell. Is it me!?! Thanks. — Dana N. Your hormones are going to need time to work themselves out. When you lose
weight, this happens and our cycles just aren't what they used to be- they
may become heavier, or they may get lighter. Still, it warrants a check
out by the Gyn. As for odor- remember that the uterus it a self cleaning
organ. It is getting rid of impurities (whatever they may be) and it could
coorelate somehow to your heavy cycles? Tell your Gyn! Us gals need to go
once a year!

I made a comment to someone the other day that me period is MUCH heavier
then it used to be. It still lasts the same amount of days but days 2 and
3 are VERY heavy.
As far as the smell, you may have an infection. If it's a fishy smell, go
to the doctor and tell him. You may have bacteral vaginosis.

Hi there...I'm still pre-op but I'm working on losing some weight before
surgery. I've lost about 10 lbs in a month and I haven't had my period in
almost a year (Got it 2 weeks ago)! I didn't really miss it, but I was very
happy to get it at first cause I know I'm making progress :) However, the
bleeding just won't stop!!! I'm a little worried but maybe it's just making
up for lost time. I don't have bad cramping or anything but it's really
annoying! So yes, I think it's normal when the weight comes off your
hormones get back to where they should be.
