Question:
Has anyone had lap RNY with Michael Snyder in Thornton, CO

I went to his mandatory meeting back in March he said he just started doing the procedure lap at that time. I went to my first consult with him yesterday and he said that he thinks he could do mine lap. Just curious about any experiences people have had with this Dr. Thanks!    — Heather .. Dear Heather, I did not have a lap, but Dr. Snyder did do my open last August - NO COMPLICATIONS. When I went I wanted a lap, but since I was over 300 pounds and he wasn't do laps yet I did the open. (I also had a history of 2 C-Sections and Gall Bladder removal - so risk for adhesions was real.). I have lost 100 pounds (incl. the 4 1/2 mo. I couldn't exercise do to several nonhealing fractures not associated with WLS.) I think Dr. Snyder is fabulous. When I was at his seminar I spoke with a Surg Tech instrutor and she stated she was trying to get her sister to see him because she thought he was a great surgeon. Good Luck to you. Krista
