Question:
What is 1 cc?

Insurers mostly say that the surgeon must remove 500 CCs to qualify for a breast reduction.. what exactly is a CC in the first place? 1 teaspoons = 2cc ?    — brandy H. (posted on June 9, 2002)

1cc=1ml. So 500cc is 500ml or 1/2 of a liter. One teaspoon is five cc's/ml's. And just because I'm on a roll here...one tablespoon is 15 cc's/ml's...lol.
