Has anyone tried protienex

Rebe, Pretty much everyone who I have talked to can't stand it. However, I like it because all you have to have is a couple tablespoons a few times a day and no worries. You get your protein in. It does taste rather nasty but I have learned to deal with it. You can wash it down quickly with water and no after taste. If you go to there website http://www.llorenspharm.com/ObesityHelp.htm you can locate a pharmacy near you and call them and have them order it. That is what I do. It cost me $24 for a bottle.

The company sent me a free sample. I am sure if you call/e-mail them they will send you one as well. I would advise sampling it before you purchase a bottle. While others can stomach it, I can't. It is extremely too sweet! I could not take more than one swallow. With this surgery comes a natural aversion to sweet things, and I find it hard to believe that this company is targeting us with such a super-sweet product. Shelley

I can't stand the stuff. It is the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you are a very brave soul, it cost out $20. Good Luck.

I called for a free sample and decided that the taste of orange cough medicine was much better than many of the powdered protein mixes I have tried. I take it straight out of the bottle 2 teaspoons at a time but I have also mixed it with water and sugar free tang. Taste much better than some of the chalky mixes I have tried in the past.

I went to my local pharmacy and had my pharmicist special order it for me. It was cheaper then ordering it online. My local pharmacy is a small business not walmart or walgreens.
