Shirley - My day starts out at 4:30 a.m. with a protein shake (30 g). When I get to work at 6 a.m. I'll have a small banana or apple. I'll have another protein shake somewhere around 7:30-8:00. Around 10-11 I'll take my vitamins with another protein shake. At lunch (if I'm hungry) I'll sometimes have a Wendy's bake potato (but only eat 1/2 of it - save for dinner). I try to have another shake at 2:00. Dinner can be anywhere from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. and I'll sometimes have either piece of venison, chicken, or pork or maybe just a green salad w/dressing. I'm averaging about 4-5 protein shakes a day and then if I'm still hungry try to eat veggies and then fruits. I hope this helps.

My favorite meals: BREAKFAST=1/2c grapenuts mixed into a cup of fat free, sweetened with aspertame yogurt (260 calories, if you buy the store brand grapenuts) LUNCH/DINNER= Mexican Black Bean chili (See AOL recipes). I make it with 1g of fat per serving groud turkey. ANOTHER FAVORITE: Chicken Quesadillas (brown onions, mushrooms and chicken breast in pam in a frying pan. Place almost cooked chicken, onions and shrooms on a Tyson's lowfat tortilla shell. Sprinkle with Kraft 2% cheddar, place another shell on top and bake til crispy.

Try not to limit yourself to what most people consider a breakfast meal. I have had no problem eating chili, chicken, or bean burritos for breakfast. I do like string cheese for snacks, as well as nuts (peanuts and cashews). I like toast for lunch with peanut butter, or sometimes cottage cheese and crackers. For supper I might make an omelet, or have chicken, pork, ham, or even cereal. Just don't feel like you have to limit yourself to traditional foods during your meals or snacks. Valerie
