Question:
I've been having a burning Pain when eating or drinking
I hope this question can be posted. I have seen burning pain in the library, but not after eating or drinking which is what I am experiencing. I am two weeks post-op. It started after I had eaten some deli meat and mustard mixed with crackers. I thought the mustard may have been burning my pouch, because the next day I felt better. As soon as I drank something the pain came back. Now I have the burning pain when I eat or drink, but mainly when I drink. I started on Zantac yesterday and so far have taken three doses. It is a low-grade pain, five on a scale of 10. I don't have a fever, no nauseau or vomiting. — Lisa N M. (posted on June 3, 2002)
