Has anyone had had assisted Lap surgery?

If your surgeon used a hand-assisted laparoscopic method, what was the rationale for doing it that way (as opposed to straight lap) and how big was the incision for the hand port? Did you have your gallbladder removed at the same time?    — Tally (posted on March 29, 2002)
