Question:
Can someone tell me exactly what a NG Tube is?

I'd just like to add that most times the NG tube is NOT inserted while you are awake. Having it pulled out is a little weird feeling, but it only lasts a few seconds. Not something to get too worried about.

My NG tube was pulled out while I was in post-op limbo. I didn't like it, but it wasn't a big deal. No pain, just uncomfortable coming out of my throat. I coughed a few times, felt a choking feeling, and then it was out. No big deal.
