Question:
Any weight loss charts available?

I am having surgery soon and am looking for some kind of weight loss chart software for my pc or pda (perferably for pda). I want to be able to record my weight loss and have the computer do the rest and make graphs, etc. Anyone ever see anything like that? — Peggy D. (posted on March 14, 2002)

I know this may be off the wall, but have you tried creating something from Excel. This spreadsheet can do all of what you are asking. I plan to create something like that for myself, but I am a computer programmer so it would not be much for me. Anyway, it is just a thought.

Fitday.com rocks, they have a chart, it's kind of "different" but it works, not sure if it's downloadable. My sister is on WW and she downloaded a "copy" program to her PDA to track her points, but not sure if there is a chart to download. The program that shae has is exactly like the online WW, but, well- downloadable! I also want to THANK the person(s) who have been advising FITDAY.com here (I've seen it in many reply posts)- I caved and went to check it out- I am proid to say that I have finally started tracking what I put in my mouth and it's AMAZING!! It really has me motivated- and it's free, unlike eDiets.com, you can also program it to fit what you are trying achieve (low sugar, or low fat) perfect for us WLS, unlike eDiets, which is not flexiable!

I agree with previous poster about Excel. I have used excel to track my progress and have many charts. I am a numbers junkie and am tracking my progress as far as weight, percentage lost, lbs to goal, percentage to goal, monthly average, projected time to goal, etc. It's a crazy world inside my head LOL.

I have a fantastic chart in Excel. Send me email at [email protected] and I will email it to you. Note that it uses macros; if you choose to disable macros when opening it, it will not work correctly. I run the most up-to-date virus checking software and Hotmail does virus-checking too so you should be fine. :-)
