Question:
Looking for info on The Obesity Clinic of Moorestown New Jersey and Dr. Alexander

Abkin of that group of surgeons. I don't see either that clinic or Dr. Alexander Abkin of that group in the obesityhelp database and would love any feedback as my sister is planning on using him for her surgery. Thanks for any info.    — Jeanne R. (posted on March 2, 2002)

I believe that clinic is in Morristown, not Moorestown. These towns are in two completely different areas of New Jersey. good luck!

I actually did find Dr. Abkin in the database here. It required a little sleuthing though. When you go to the "find a doc" page, instead of clicking on the state that you are interested in, scroll down that page and type into the search the letter "a". He will come up there. This is where I went. Dr Abkin is a very good sugeon.I would recomend him to anyone. Were I to do this over again I would contact his office to do the insurance work for me. I found it a very long proceedure and if I had the expertise that they do it would have been a breeze. The nurse at the clinic, Mary, is very through and seems very concerned.

Dr. Abkin works in Morristown, NJ. He is well known here as an excellent surgeon. There is a wonderful support group and the Obesity Center is great!
