Question:
I have The Health Plan of Upper Ohio Valley, HMO......anyone else deal with them?
I've already had problems with them. My little girl is a special needs child and since turning 3 the state no longer provides therapy, so who do I turn to? My "so called Insurance Comp". Well needless to say they have only approved her for 20 sessions....in her LIFETIME. I'm fighting with them about this, what the heck is the reaction going to be when I request my surgery? Anyone else have this company? My doctor said that it's really hard for them to deny if you have an underlying health condition, I'm just starting this so I have only scheduled my physical and bloodwork. So far no conditions I know of. I just don't want to go thru the torture of doing all this if they will not approve me. Heck I have to keep appealing for my daughter to recieve therapy, I can just imagine how it will be when I ask for mine!!!! It would be wonderful if someone lets me know they HAVE BEEN APPROVED by this company. ~*~also I want to thank those who responded to my prev posting about the Angels page...as you can tell I believe I've pretty much made up my mind :) — Lori S.
