Question:
I know I've already asked this question, but I can't seem to find the posts

from my question. I've literally been a 7 month plateau, vacillating between 5-6 pounds depending on the time of the month. Did I only have 6 months to get this off? I'm still 50lbs. to goal. I still get full, I still dump (somewhat, and I drink water and protein like crazy. What am I doing wrong? Has any one ever gone that long with out loosing an ounce? 2/16 was suppose to reveal a new slim me. I'm so disaapointed...    — corpdiva2005 (posted on June 3, 2002)

First are you transected? If not, and you have had rny, you could have a small staple line disruption like I did. Mine came lose at the top of the pouch and although I still got full it took a lot more to fill me up. I didn't gain but I quit losing at 6 mos post op. I had the problem fixed by having a transection and now I am fine. Perhaps this is not the reason but should be looked at as a possibility if you are not transected. Only way to know for sure is to take a look inside either by upper GI or endoscope. Good luck!

I noticed that you didn't include exercise in what you are presently doing. I am not that far into the losing side but I did find that exercise gave my weight loss a jumpstart - I am only 7wks out and was on a two week standstill. Anyway, it is just a suggestion. Good luck and God Bless!!

Write down everything you eat and drink each day. How many Proteins are you getting, carbs, calories. Do you have a dietician. Bring this journal to them. Good luck
