Question:
I'm 2.5 weeks post-op and my teeth hurt all the time. Why?

Janice....this is just a thought, but are your sinuses bothering you? A
sinus infection can make your teeth hurt. Whenever I get one, my teeth
always give it away first.

Hi! My teeth hurt when I was in the hospital, I think I was clenching them
really hard when I slept- my pain killers weren't working well. Anyway,
maybe you are doing that?? I know stress can make you clench/grind your
teeth too. Just a thought... Hope it gets better!

I found this happened to me early post-op. I thought it was from chewing so
much. It was the same feeling I got when I chewed gum for a long time. If
it's that sort of pain you're referring to, rest assured it gets better!
Good Luck!

This is very interesting- I have developed this problem, too. It feels as
though my fillings have become hyper-sensitive and I have wondered if I
clench my teeth while asleep. If so, it is a new issue. I have had a lot
of dental work since surgery- a third root canal since August. I take
vitamins and am eating almost normally, but my mouth is definitely more
sensitive and uncomfortable.
