Question:
I seem to lose more weight when I do nothing at all.

For the last couple of weeks, I've made a real effort to exercise and watch what I eat, but the strange thing is that I seem to lose more weight when I don't walk a mile everyday or eat more salads. This happened early on, so I know it's not the six months honeymoon thing.    — Tammy W. (posted on February 3, 2002)

Hi. It's very common to gain weight when you start out exercising! It's not a bad thing! When you exercise, you are building muscle, and muscle weights more than fat. Check your measurements and you'll see that you have lost weight, just bad weight weighs less than the good weight!
