Question:
Does Blue Choice HMO cover TT and Breast reductions?

Hi in March I am getting Blue Choice HMO from Blue Cross Blue Shield. Does anyone here have them as insurers. Do they cover TT and Breast reduction?    — lynbaby B. (posted on January 25, 2002)

Most insurance will not pay for cosmetic surgery. However, if you have a large apron that is causing skin infections and back troubles, that is more likely to be covered. Pretty much the same thing for breast reduction. If your large breasts are causing you medical problems, they should cover it.
