Question:
another breakfast/protien/fluid intake question...

Reading the answers to a previous question made me think of another. Still pre-op,I am not a breakfast person at all. However, I do drink 12-16 oz of water while getting ready in the morning....always have. Instead of eating breakfast, can I replace my morning water with a protein drink? Will I be able to count that as breakfast and as water? Killing two birds with one stone, so to speak.    — [Anonymous] (posted on January 7, 2002)

I start my day off my day with Pro-Blend 55 protien powder with 8 ounces of milk, mixed in a blender. I get a great start on my daily portien with 33 grams. The protein supplement is considered a meal. Good luck. Jackie Eyrikson

You can't consider the water used to mix your protein as "water"... the water is for reconsituting the protein. You'll be shortchanging yourself if you try to "double count" it as protein and water both.
