Question:
Yesterday I realized I have developed hemmoroids!
I am in my early 30's, never had children and I really have not had a problem with constipation. I'm 6 months Post-OP. I have never had hemmoroids before and I don't even really know what causes them. I'm wondering if they go away on their own? Do I need to see a Doctor? What helps? As a wierd advisory note, if you have blood pressure problems check with
your doctor before using prep h. I have a friend on blood pressure meds who
numbers skyrocketed, finally found because of his hemmroid medicine. With
MOs frequent BP problems I thought I would pass this along, altough using
once or twice probably would be safe, but get doctor advice before long
term use.

Sounds like the "6 month itch" to me (pun intended). I got them
too at 6 months. Went to a doc and was told to take over-the-counter
Anusol cream. Pain/itching goes away instantly. If they persist, you may
have to have them removed. But in some cases they go away. Good luck and
God Bless!

I am nearly 7 months post-op and last month I had a colonoscopy as my
hemmoroids were so bad. The result was not enough fiber in my diet. I try
to up the fiber and also drink sugar-free Citrucel. I felt better when I
started fiber therapy. Good luck!!!
