I need the house or senate bill number for the legislation that is currently under re

The Ohio legislature is currently working on a bill to make it mandatory for insurance companies to cover treatment for the morbidly obese, including surgery if medically necessary. I live in Ohio as well, and heard this announced on the radio that there is currently a bill in the Senate to have insurance companies cover WLS. That's all I know, but you can bet I'll keep you posted if I hear anything else!

The bill before Ohio Senate is S.B.162. If you to Ohio Government site you can look up the bill. I have e-mailed the senator that submitted this bill telling them how important it is that it passes. Tell everyone you know so they can pass the word around and write letters of support.
