Question:
Does Medicare pay for abdominoplasty

I am asking this in advance because I have yet to have my surgery. Actually I am still awaiting approval. I carry an extremely large amount of weight in my abdomen. I know I will have flaps and flaps of skin in the panni area after I lose. I know Medicare can be hard to deal with but thought I'd ask now just in case I have to start saving my pennies...lol    — blank first name B. (posted on December 29, 2001)

Hi Terry Medicare gave me no problems what so ever. My Drs office just submitted and i was approved in just a couple of weeks. I think it depends on the state in which you live. Good Luck Carol
