More information about Dr Jossart.

I've heard several times that Dr Greg Jossart, Dr Rabkin's ex-associate,now has his own practice. Anybody with this surgeon, I would love to have more info, how did you get referred, his program fee and what is his office number??    — Diane B. (posted on November 23, 2001)

Hi, I am getting my papers together to send to Dr. Rabkim and hopefully I'll get accepted as a patient. I wrote an email to his office in early September and received this as a part of the reply: "As of July Dr. Jossart is no longer doing any kind of weight loss surgery. He is really committed to continuing his laparoscopic practice which does not include the DS. Dr. Rabkin is the only surgeon in northern California that performs the duodenal switch procedure." Hope that helps!

Yes, Dr R was telling people this but it is not true! Dr Jossart IS doing DS and his office is across the hall from Dr Rabkin's. His # is 415-561-1310. I invite you to join the Jossart support group at [email protected]
