Question:
Beechstreet PPO?

I called Beechstreet and ask them if WLS was coverd.The lady said yes, but not through my husband employer. His employer had a exclusion for it. This is what it says: CARE AND TREATMENT OF OBESITY,WEIGH LOSS,OR DIETARY CONTROL WHETHER OR NOT IT IS,IN ANY CASE,A PART OF THE TREATMENT PLAN FOR ANOTHER SICKNESS. A friend of mine told me they didn't mention MORBID obese,so i could maybe get approved? So,is there any hope? My husband has Beechtreet PPO(J.P Farley)    — S B. (posted on November 15, 2001)
