How long does it usually take for Health Assurance PPO to approve?

After gathering all of the required reports (psych eval, dietary, etc.) and the surgeon's office submits it, how long does it usually take for Halth Assurance PPO to approve the surgery?    — Dona R. (posted on October 13, 2001)

Hi Dona, While I don't have personal experience with this company, I did a little research for you. Go to the top of any page and click on "insurers" and next choose your state, PA. You will get an alphabetical listing of insurance companies that members in your state have dealt with. Your insurance has many approvals listed. In reading the comments, it does not seem to take very long for approval after paperwork submission. Included with each comment is the members' e-mail addresses. Maybe you could e-mail them your specific questions? Hope this helps. Shelley
