Looking for a Support group near Riverside, Ca.

I'm looking for a support group near Riverside, Ca. that DOES NOT meet on Wednesday. I have a prior commitment every Wednesday night and that's all I've been able to find. I'm 7 weeks Post-op.    — Stacey S. (posted on October 1, 2001)

Hi Stacy! You are MORE than welcome to come to our support group meetings. Dr. Terry Sanderfer w/Inland Bariatric's office oversees the meetings and he is even there most meetings to answer any and all questions that anyone may have..I am 7 wks post op also, he did my surgery and I am NOW doing great. Our meetings are at Riverside Community Hospital (downtown Riverside) on the LAST Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm....If you have any further questions, PLEASE e mail me. Hope to see you there....

Hello! If you're looking for a GREAT support group in Riverside County, you are welcome to come to the support group that is sponsored by Dr. Mal Fobi from the Center for Surgical Treatment of Obesity. We meet every 2nd Saturday of the month at the Country Villiage Senior Apartments and Resort from 11:00 Am to 1:00 PM. It is open to the public. It is very informative, encouraging and a great place to hear how others are doing at different stages of the surgery. Join us!
