You know, one thing that I think frustrates us is that we weigh ourselves
too frequently. For the first month and a half, I only got weighed when I
went in for my 1, 3, and 6 week checkup. We all know we will have
plateaus, but perhaps if we check our numbers less frequently, the scale
won't get us down. Now, 5 months post-op, I get on the scale no more than
once a week. I try to do it every two weeks. As long as it goes down, I'm
cool with it.
I'm sure that I gain a pound one day and loose it the next, but it's not
something I want to see, so spacing my scale days far apart, the odds that
I would see something negative are slim.
By the way, I am down 80 pounds, 3 clothing sizes! My attitude about food
is very different. I never knew how my life would change from this
surgery. Good luck with your recovery and the life change! Go out and buy
something pretty!

I can totally relate to how you feel. I just went through a short period
of no weight loss. Hang in there, it will start up again, your body needs
periodic breaks to adjust to all the changes.
