Faith, you have the perfect name dear, dont lose heart, are you exercising?
Are you getting enough water? if you are try and do a little more. If you
started at 244 you will lose weight much slower than say a person who is
starting at 400, but since you dont have that far to go you are only 5
months after give it time and get active and you should be great when you
reach that year mark...

I would kill to be 197, you have done very well, be proud. I am about 7
months post op and have not lost for weeks at a time. My Dietitian told me
that my body has to catch up with the rapid weight loss, that is for
everyone who had WLS or not. I am sure you heard this already, the inches
are going down Sweetie. Keep your head up!

Are you transected? Is there a chance of any mechanical failure? I'm not
judging your wt loss by any standard but yours. IF you feel you are losing
slowly, and feel that your water & protein supps are well covered,
meals are still small, then the next thing is to rule out a mechanical
issue.
