Question:
Calories?
This may seem like a silly question. But I have been wondering for a while now. I know everybody is diferent and so what may be for one is not for another. With that said, I am wondering how many calories you need to keep your body from going into stavation mode before and after surgery? I am curious because I haven't had the surgery yet, (still trying to get approved), also because I hear how you intake between 700 and 1200 calories a day but then your body doesn't asorb all of them. I was told about half so that means you are absorbing about 350 - 600 calories a day. Just curious, please advise. Thank you. — Virginia D. (posted on January 14, 2004)
