Is Stasis Dermatitis caused by obesity, and will it improve with weight loss?

I see my dermatologist this week, and I'm sure he'll say I have Stasis Dermatitis. Is this something that I can look forward to "curing" when I loose weight after surgery? Or, worst case, can this cause a delay/cancellation in my zurgery plans?!?
